The Isolator Polarization Beam Combiner & Splitter is a hybrid device of isolator and Polarization Beam Combiner & Splitter integrated component , which combines two orthogonal polarization signals into one output fiber, and blocks the reflected light from the terminal, with a single compact package and low cost and lower insertion. PBC/PBS is widely applied in Fiber Optics Current Transducer(Foct), Gyro, Raman Amplifier, EDFA, for the extremely performance of low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, high environment stability and reliability.

- Above specifications are for device without connector.
- For devices with connectors, IL will be 0.3dB higher, RL will be 5dB lower and ER will be 2dB lower. The default connector key is aligned to slow axis. Power transmits through the connector less than 2W.
- For high-power applications, IL and ISO will be slightly worse due to the heat absorbed by the Faraday plate and the temperature rise. But they are all within a reasonable range. For more information, please contact OPC PHOTONICS.
